There were scenes of delight in South London last night as Sutton United drew Arsenal in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

The National League outfit will welcome the Premier League giants to Gander Green Lane on the weekend of 18th/19th February. The match is sure to be a sell-out with the ground having a capacity of just 5,000.

It will be the biggest game in Sutton’s history and their first appearance in the fifth round of the competition. Incidentally, Sutton were the last non-league team to win an FA Cup home game against a team in the top flight – a 2-1 victory over Coventry City in 1989.

There was similar good fortune for Lincoln City who drew Burnley away. Both non-league sides are set to receive massive revenue boosts for their progression and another cup upset could be on the cards.
