5 Best Video Games 2015 – Preview
We’ve barely wrapped up the past year and already everyone’s looking ahead into the next, hoping 2015 will bring more of the good and less of the bad. Yes, we understand that feeling of anticipation. It’s why we call it looking ‘forward’, isn’t it? For those avid fans of video games, it means surfing the web in search of the upcoming releases that have already been announced and wait in suspense for games still cloaked in secrecy.
Surely there’s better ways to get your hands on a preview of what will be released in the coming year? That’s right, my friend. Here’s 5 of the best video games 2015 has in store for fans of established series and those looking for something fresh alike.
10 February 2015 – Evolve (PC, PS4, XBO)
Who doesn’t love to spend some time shooting up and shredding a new breed of monsters? In Evolve you team up with four other players to hunt and kill these beasts. If that doesn’t sound too exciting, this multiplayer game actually pits you against a player-controlled enemy. No more battling spawned by the software which means you need to work out proper strategies as a team. Meanwhile, the monster is working towards evolving itself and surviving your attacks so there will be plenty opportunities for defeat.
14 April 2015 – Mortal Kombat X
One of the classics among the fighting games is set to release its tenth instalment this year which promises to be more brutal than ever with detailed X-Rays moves. Alongside plenty of new characters, you’ll also see some old favourites return such as Quan Chi. Interesting is that a series of comics will be released as a prequel to the game, detailing the back stories of the characters.
May 2015 – No Man’s Sky (PC, PS4)
When the trailer was shown at E3 2014 it blew everyone away, not just because of great graphics but as a result of the phenomenal scope the game has. Players are given an entire universe to explore where every planet is different with new species waiting to be discovered. You alone determine the progress of the game, choosing which planets to travel to by spaceship, meeting friends and foes along the way. Sounds rather epic, in our opinion.
19 May 2015 – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt ( PC, PS4, Xbox One)
Join The Witcher on his third quest to find the Wild Hunt, a group of wandering ghosts that should help him regain his memories. The coolest feature of this role-playing game has to be all the skills you have as a witcher. You can use magic to trick people into revealing secrets while still wielding a sword like any great video game hero. Now that it has become an open world, gameplay on Witcher could definitely be a lot more interesting.
2 June 2015 – Batman: Arkham Knight (PC, PS4, XBO)
You actually get to drive the Batmobile. That by itself would probably be reason enough for any gamer to have a go. It’s the fourth – and sadly last – of the series but definitely going out with a bang! The game introduces a brand-new villain named Arkham Knight who remains a mystery but seems to be in league with all of Batman’s infamous enemies such as Penguin and The Riddler.
Here at SuperCasino we might not be building any video games but it’s still worth keeping an eye on the website in 2015. We’ll be introducing new slot games on a regular basis to enhance your casino experience even further. If only we could get a Batman slot, that would make our year.
